Today we looked over the topic studies for any final changes that need to be made before we hang them up in the school. I'm excited to get some feedback from other teachers. I'm also eager to start teaching some biography topic studies. This will be the first time my students have had such an extensive background about non-fiction before reading biographies. It will be interesting to see if they process more deeply.
I still think the next topic study poster will need to have some more requirements. Instead of just picking a topic, I think we are going to write a rubric together first.
