My Thinking is All Muddy.

Muddy Thoughts

God
Family
School

God
School
Family

God
School
School

God
School
School, Family, School

Lost
Confused
Unfocused
Spinning in circles
In place
on myself
Going nowhere

It can be really hard to keep all of our priorities in the correct order, especially when we feel like they are all things that we should be doing. As I look at my to-do list i can so relate to your poem. I really could relate to the lines, "Spinning in circles, In place on myself Going nowhere." I was so there this weekend so I made myself take today off from school. It's been refreshing. However, I know that tomorrow I will have to double-time it to get everything done.

I held my breath as I read! I feel like Saturdays should be less whirly, and more at ease! Hoping the spinning settles and you might be able to get your feet settled beneath you!!

This was powerful to read tonight. I am not sure, but I got from this post that you were thinking about your busy life, and how priorities change based on the busy schedule and all that you have to do in a given day. I feel like that often, and having "school" on my plate more than God or family seems to be what happens at different times of the year. Your blog post made me refocus, and realize that no matter how busy I am with my job or my family, God must come first. Thanks for sharing!

Spinning in circles... yes, your word choice in this poem gave me that impression. Like you're going around and around in your mind.
Hope you figure it all out!
