Every day I work with the same people. We smile and exchange pleasantries as we pass in the hallway. On Fridays we clink our coffee cups on our way to pick up the kids in the morning. But how many deep conversations about teaching have I had with these people lately?
Two. There are two recent conversations I have had that have been meaningful. One conversations was about teachers having more opportunities to connect through a blog. The other conversation was related to teaching writing. I am hopeful. I think there are more conversations to be had in a blogging environment.
I hope to have more conversations with the people I work next to every day. I think they are getting ready to take the blogging plunge.
